Happy Nomadiversary to Us!

"Yesterday's the past, tomorrow's the future, but today is a gift. That's why it's called the present." --Bill Keane

One year ago on March 12, 2020, we hit the road full-time, heading south from Denver to Santa Fe. A winter storm was coming, Covid had just become a full-blown pandemic, and we were off and running, ready for adventure! We hit a few bumps in the road, literally and figuratively, but overall it's been an amazing first year on the road: about 10,000 miles driven, traveled through 16 states, 15 National Park sites, and countless other state, county and city parks. We had one emergency vet visit, one emergency room visit (bike accident), a rattlesnake encounter, one car stuck in the sand, a few scary RV driving moments, and many more stories from our life on the road. It's been quite a year!

There are 31,536,000 seconds in one year. One Second Everyday only shows 365 of those. This little video can't possibly show everything we saw and experienced this year (and obviously only a fraction of that is recorded), but it's a start and a great reminder to be present in every moment and enjoy the gift - don't let it slip away. Here's a video of our first year on the road, one second everyday.
